Jazz is an intricate art form, combining musical proficiency and raw emotion in exciting and unpredictable ways. In defense of that notion, we are happy to have the Dave Ferreira Trio for our weekly Night Club After 9 jazz show tomorrow night. They will delight the ear. $7.50 cover, 9 p.m., all ages.

How about an early break from the week? Jazz ProFusion will descend on the HoDo Lounge tomorrow night at 8:30 p.m., no cover, 21+. Hey, the weekend is so good, why not start it a day early?

Spring?

You couldn't tell from the five (or six, or seven!) inches of snow on the ground, but this is our first Night Club After 9 of spring. Simon Rowe and the trio take the stage at 9 p.m., all ages, $7.50 cover. If you've got the winter blues one season too late, come on down for some smokin' jazz. It'll cheer you right up.

We're damn proud to be hosting Fargo's own country bad boy, Blind Joe, in our HoDo Lounge tomorrow night at 8:30 p.m. Joe's got grit and a whole lot of talent. Check out his MySpace and listen for yourself. Then, come on down tomorrow night and do a shot of Jack with Joe. 21+, no cover.

Call me Ishmael. Tomorrow night, we'll be hunting down a wail of our very own here in our HoDo Lounge. The Blue Wailers take the stage at 8:30 p.m. and bring their blues/rock sound with them. There's no cover, 21+. From hell's heart they will stab at thee.

In Like a Lion ... Jazz Tonight

It certainly seems as though March has come in like a lion. To match that ferociousness, the Trio is bringing special friends Russ Peterson and Matt Patnode to sit in on the fun. The Front Fenders ... Still Runnin'

Let it all hang out! The Front Fenders are bringing their rollicking show to the HoDo Lounge tonight, 8:30 p.m., 21+, no cover.

The Fenders play a mix of vintage rock 'n' roll from every era and guarantee a good time. Cut loose!

The Fargo Film Festival is currently under way. As proud sponsors, we are grateful for the opportunity to help bring independent film and filmmakers to town.
